DECAF Organic Chiapas: Mexico
Notes: Chocolate, Red Apple, Silky
A Decaf coffee that has the flavor profile of one of our fully caffeinated single origin coffees. This Mexican coffee has a lovely profile of chocolate with a silky feel with some notes of red apple. With low acidity the cup gives smooth flavor from a quality cup of decaf coffee. Even a proper decaf coffee can have a delicious profile like your other single origin coffees..
Decaffeination Process: The Swiss Water Process(SWP) is done in British Colombia, Canada. The Swiss Water Process is done by a process using water and green coffee extract rather than the common chemical baths of most decaf coffee to extract the caffeine from the beans. The process keeps the original profile of the beans, despite going through the decaffeination process.
