This Peruvian full bodied coffee has an amazing profile of dark chocolate with a silky feel with a moderate nutty note. Decaffeination Process: The Swiss Water Process(SWP) is done in British Colombia, Canada. The Swiss Water Process is done by a process using water and green coffee extract rather than the common chemical baths of most decaf coffee to extract the caffeine from the beans. The process keeps the original profile of the beans, despite going through the decaffeination process.
Location:Location: In the northern highlands of Peru coming down from the Andes mountains to the coast in Cajamarca. This harvest is from a group of about 100 small farms at 1700-1800m
